Louie loves the dog park

Today we took a trip to the dog park along with foster siblings Kosmo and Belle and neighbor Henry Dog. Louie is very dog-friendly so he enjoys the park and meeting all the neighborhood doggies.  He especially likes to find other playful dogs and wrestle with them.  Belle is the runner, so once she bolts and the other dogs chase after her, Louie jumps in and joins the pack. Louie stays close to us and hasn't tried escaping from the park or climbing the fence.  He's quite comfortable in a pack.  We really need to get Louie an "Adopt Me" bandana so people at the park know he's up for adoption. Anyone know where we can get one?

Louie immediately found a playmate in Belle.  The two of them wrestle constantly!  Louie is twice her size but she can definitely hold her own.  Check out the latest video of the two of them playing with each other:

Louie has a foster home!

Louie Dog arrived at our home on Monday, February 16.  Louie greeted our beagles Kosmo and Belle outside and then made himself comfortable in our home.  He was very excited to meet us and immediately wanted to begin playing with Belle.  He's very playful and friendly with us.  Over the past week, he's made amazing progress with house-training and every day he's getting more comfortable in his crate when we leave our house.  We are excited to start this blog and share more about life with Louie and help find him a forever home!
